Who are you?
My name is Dane Coates.
I graduated from the International College of Oriental Medicine in June 2009 with a BSc(Hons) in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I am a full member of the British Acupuncture Council and as such I am a liscened acupuncturist.
Why Newton Abbot?
I grew up in Newton Abbot so it was the natural place for me to come and start a practice as I have strong roots here and believe that acupuncture could be of real benefit to many of the people I know. I also decided to come back here to start up my practice as I honestly believe that Devon is one of the most beautiful places in the world, I greatly enjoy walks along the coast and moors.
Anything else?
I also enjoy the martial art Aikido. I find that it’s gentle nature is a perfect compliment to the profession and it helps me to stay fit and healthy.
